Who we are

Crystal Sound was founded in Baden-Baden in the year 1979 as a production company for eventtechnologie. Putting a lot of effort into the company during the beginning quickly paid off when we started to work with the legendary WDR Rockpalast for many years. That’s how we earned a reputation as a reliable and professional qualified partner.

During that time we didn’t just concentrate on the music business. We also became established in TV production and industrial productions. Since we kept and still keep investing in the latest technology we were able to put our own quality demands on a very high level in the early years of our company’s history.

As a result of a constant increase, Crystal Sound partnered with Rock Shop in 1999, which also expanded our portfolio.

With the Backline Rental, the departments for installation and repair service and the Music Store we finally had the chance to fulfill our idea of a full service production. That combination gave us a way to widen our spectrum of service to our customers, which is still unique in Germany. In 2008 we expanded with our third building next to the music store and the online distribution warehouse. In addition to big office rooms and a warehouse of more than 2000 square meters we have a preproduction/ rehearsal hall available which includes a kitchen, Crew/ Artist dressing rooms and bathrooms with showers.

What we do

We have over three decades of experience as a provider for full service and we are able to cover all sorts of events. To make sure that we can offer an exact technical, logistical and creative achievement we first analyze all demands that are placed upon us. We ensure the guarantee of the budget. Our staff is well trained with many years of experience in all of their particular area of expertise. They also work together with other departments.

We are able to offer a quick turnaround time. Due to our many resources in the industry we are able to provide business related services. Since we raise the bar for our own aims higher and higher we also raise the quality of our company. As a result we have satisfied customers that motivate us to continure offering a high quality service.
